The central government on Wednesday invited public suggestions regarding the forthcoming Railway budget 2016-17.
According to the Ministry of Railways, suggestions can be given online on its website where a special icon with the title "public suggestions on forthcoming railway budget 2016-17" has been created.
The ministry elaborated that suggestions can be given on 15 areas namely computerisation, electrical, electrification of lines, finance, foot over bridges amongst others.
The ministry added that the last date for submission of suggestions is January 15 next.
