'Raazi' to hit screens on May 11, 2018
Director Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film "Raazi", which is being widely shot in the Kashmir Valley, has been locked for release on May 11 next year.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is co-producing the film, tweeted on Tuesday: "Exciting date announcement! 'Raazi' releasing May 11, 2018... Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal."
Meghna, who has earlier made films like "Filhaal..." and "Talvar", is the daughter of celebrated writer Gulzar and veteran actress Raakhee.
For "Raazi", which narrates the story of a Kashmiri girl married to a Pakistani Army officer, she has cast actors Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
The espionage thriller is based on Harinder Sikka's novel "Calling Sehmat", and is being shot in Punjab, Kashmir and Mumbai.
