Racing defeat Banfield in Argentine league
Racing Club defeated Banfield 1-0 in the 15th match day of Argentina's football Transicion tournament, edging closer to the league leaders.
Racing forward Gustavo Boy scored the winner in the seventh minute in "Cilindro" stadium in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires Sunday night, reports Xinhua.
Racing have reached 29 points, just two points behind River Plate, the current leaders.
On the other hand, Banfield only have 16 points.
