Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Saturday yet again lashed out at the Gujarat model of development, saying BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was claiming credit for the work of other people.
Gandhi also alleged that Modi favoured only one industrialist in the state.
"There is a partnership between Modi and Adani," he alleged, asserting that all senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders like L.K. Advani, now-expelled Jaswant Singh, Yashwant Sinha and Sushma Swaraj were sidelined for Modi's partnership with Adani.
"The money they (Modi government) gave to Adani is being in turn used for his marketing (election campaign). Big posters are coming up all over the country. From where is the money coming... you tell me?" he said at an election rally in Amreli.
"This is the Gujarat model. You give all the benefits to one industrialist. We are not against industrialisation," the Congress vice president said.
Spearheading the party campaign in Modi's home state, Rahul Gandhi at another rally in Dahod said: "He (Modi) set up the monopoly of loot in Gujarat."
"If RTI commissioners and lokayukta are appointed in Gujarat, your chowkidar (Modi) will be in jail," he added.
