Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday greeted the nation on the eve of Vijaya Dashmi.
"Warm greetings to every one on the eve of Vijaya Dashmi," Gandhi said in a tweet.
Dussehra is a Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil.
People burn huge effigies of Ravana across the country on Vijaya Dashmi. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Rama killed Ravana, the king of Lanka on this day.
