Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Monday visited an ATM here and interacted with people standing in a queue to draw cash.

Gandhi's visit to the ATM in Jahangirpuri area took everyone by surprise.

The Congress said Gandhi asked those in the queue about the difficulties they were facing since the government demonetised the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes on November 8.

The demonetisation has triggered a cash chaos across the country, with hundreds of thousands queuing up outside banks and ATMs to withdraw money or deposit or exchange the old currency.
