Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu Tuesday flagged off three new trains by remote control at a function here.
According to the railway ministry, these trains are part of the announcements made in the railway budget 2014-15.
The ministry said the three new trains included the Mumbai-Gorakhpur Jansadharan Express, Pune-Lucknow Express and Bidar-Mumbai Express.
On Monday, the minister had flagged off eight trains.
The ministry said that so far Prabhu had flagged off 11 trains in the last two days, while more train services are expected to be launched in the next eight days.
The ministry had earlier said that a total of 22 new services and one extension of existing service will be implemented over the next ten days.
