Raja-Martin fall in doubles quarters

Indo-French pair of Purav Raja and Fabrice Martin lost 5-7, 7-6(4), 10-7 against Adrian Menendez-Maceiras of Spain and Aleksandr Nedovyesov of Kazakhstan in the men's doubles quarter-finals of the Tashkent Challenger Tennis at the Olympic Tennis School complex here Wednesday.

Farukh Dustov of Uzbekistan and Radu Albot of Moldova ousted top seeds Australian Rameez Junaid and Russian Konstantin Kravchuk 6-4, 6-3 in quarters.

Unseeded Slovak Lucas Lacko and Croat Ante Pavic beat second seeded Belarusian pair of Sergey Betov and Alexander Bury 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 to advance to the semi-finals.

In singles, Anton Zaitcev toppled seventh seed Farrukh Dustov 6-3, 6-7.

Croat Borna Coric downed eighth seeded Alexander Kudryavtsev 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 while top seeded Serbian Dusan Lajovic survived to make it to the quarter-finals, winning 7-6(11), 5-7, 6-4.
