To boost the development of basic infrastructure in Rajasthan, the state government Tuesday signed five agreements with private firms working in various fields.
State government undertaking Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with RSPCL-Gail Gas Ltd. for creating infrastructure for supply of natural and CNG for domestic, industrial, commercial purposes and for vehicles.
A plan for marketing and supply of natural gas for selected industrial, commercial and residential zones along with the national and state highways would also be chalked out with the firm.
In the first phase, a mega CNG station at Neemrana and another station at Kukas would be established.
To connect places of religious tourism, the state government inked an agreement with OIS Aerospace Pvt Ltd.
Two MoUs were signed in the solar energy sector with Sun Edison India and Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services for establishing solar parks with power generation capacity of 5,000 megawatts each.
Another agreement was entered into with automobile giant Toyota for providing technical training to youths.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Tuesday said the mission-mode approach of her government has started delivering, as more and more investors are joining the state government's efforts.
"We have already created a favourable atmosphere and the results are here for everybody to see. Renowned multinationals are investing in Rajasthan," she said.
