Ace designer Rajesh Pratap Singh has come up with a new take on evergreen white shirt and he dedicated the range to noted British-born architect Laurie Baker, who died in 2007.
"This season Rajesh Pratap Singh's white shirt is dedicated to the Gandhi of architecture, 'Laurie Baker', which defies the rules of the classic men's shirt", said a statement issued on behalf of the designer.
Made from soft yet sturdy cotton, the shirt is hand-stitched with the signature 'Pratap' seam. The seam-inserted pockets make it functional whilst the bias cut 'churi' sleeves epitomise tradition.
Clean, classic and sophisticated white shirts have been synonymous with the Rajesh Pratap Singh label over the years and the designer continues to experiment with different concepts and techniques to deliver a different take on the white shirt season after season.
The Baker Shirt is now in stores and is available at Rs.11,150.
