Home Minister Rajnath Singh will leave for Pune in Maharashtra Wednesday to visit the landslide-affected village where at least 25 people were killed and over 160 trapped, his office said.
"Home Minister Rajnath Singh is leaving for Pune this evening (Wednesday). He will visit the landslide affected village of Malin in Maharashtra," his office said in a tweet.
At least 25 people were killed and over 160 trapped under a massive section of a hillock that came crashing down on Malin, a village of around 50 homes near Pune early Wednesday as a heavy downpour loosened the earth and dislodged rocks and boulders.
