European football champions Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and Welsh Gareth Bale returned to group training on Wednesday, while Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and Fabio Coentrao performed ball exercises.
Real Madrid continued their preparations for La Liga second round against Celta Vigo on Saturday, while all indications show that Ronaldo will not appear in this game, reports Efe.
Although the Portuguese star has fully recovered from his knee injury, Real Madrid's French coach Zinedine Zidane may prefer to delay the return of his star forward after the international break, hoping that he will not be called on by his Portuguese national team for two international matches next September.
Both Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas and French striker Karim Benzema also worked out on the sidelines of the training, as they will miss the Celta Vigo clash.
