Actress Ramya Krishnan, who has been away from the limelight for a while, will be making her comeback in a prominent role in a yet-untitled Tamil film, co-starring Vishal Krishna.

The film is being directed by Sundar C, and Ramya is expected to join the team soon.

"I can confirm that Ramya will be seen in an important role, but I can't divulge details about it. She will join the team in the second schedule which will start in Hyderabad soon," Sundar C told IANS.

Ramya was last seen in Tamil film "Kutti Pisasu".

Known for her roles in several hit southern films of the 1990s, Ramya is currently busy shooting for Telugu period-drama "Baahubali".
