Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says the stalemate against West Bromich Albion has given his side more confidence than their last gasp victory in Saturday's match against Norwich City.
West Brom held Leicester to a 2-2 draw in an English Premier League (EPL) clash at the King Power Stadium here on Tuesday.
Leonardo Ulloa was the hero at the weekend when he settled a tense encounter with a 89th minute winner against Norwich, but the draw with West Brom was a stark contrast.
Salomon Rondon had broken the deadlock in Tuesday's game for the visitors but Danny Drinkwater and Andy King then scored for Leicester to give them a 2-1 lead. However, it was Craig Gardner's wonderful free kick which restored parity for West Brom.
Leicester remain atop the EPL table with 57 points. Tottenham Hotspur are hot on their heels with 54.
"I am more confident now then the match against Norwich," Ranieri was quoted as saying by the EPL website.
"With Norwich we won the match at the end but created very few chances. Tonight we created a lot of chances."
"We draw the match but it is okay. Four points in two very difficult matches is fantastic. We are alive. Our spirit is ready to fight again and I am happy," he added.
