Canadian star Milos Raonic moved past local hope Donald Young 6-4, 7-5 to reach the Citi Open tennis final.

Raonic hit 15 aces and won 34 of the 37 first-serve points in the match Saturday. Young failed to get any break points, reports Xinhua.

Raonic will face Canadian compatriot Vasek Pospisil in the final.

It would be the first time in the Open era, which started in 1968, that two Canadians face each other in a tournament final.
