Rapper Troy Ave has been arrested for a shooting during a concert. The incident wounded four people, including himself.

On Thursday, the police department here released video footage from the venue that shows Troy Ave firing a gun inside the third-floor green room. The firing took place on Wednesday, reports people.com.

The 33-year-old artist has been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, the New York Police Department tweeted along with the video.

Troy Ave, whose birth name is Roland Collins, shot himself in the leg during a struggle at the club, said the police officials. A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to the hospital and a 26-year-old woman was shot in the leg and is in stable condition now.

Ronald (Edgar) McPhatter, 33, was shot in the stomach but was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Ave and the victims were given access to the green room area.

Detectives are waiting for ballistics evidence to come back to see if he'll face additional charges. Police are unsure if there was more than one shooter.

Meanwhile, T.I. Took to Twitter and posted: "Rest in peace bro. God bless. My heart is heavy today. Our music is intended to save lives, like it has mine and many others. My heartfelt condolences to the family that suffered the loss & my prayers are with all those injured. Respectfully, Tip."
