In view of the preparations being made for Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi's swearing in ceremony May 26, Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain closed for the public May 24-25, an official statement said.
"In view of preparations being made for the forthcoming swearing-in ceremony, the Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain closed for tours on May 24 and 25," a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement said.
It added that there will also be no change of guards ceremony May 24.
On regular days Rashtrapati Bhavan is open for visitors Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
