Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have signed England all-rounder Chris Jordan for the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
According to a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI, Jordan has come in as a replacement for Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who was ruled out of the remainder of the IPL due to a foot injury.
Jordan had built a reputation as a 'death overs' bowler during England's campaign at the World Twenty20 recently, taking six wickets in a tournament where his side lost to the West Indies in the final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Jordan will join fellow English cricketers Jos Buttler, Sam Billings and his national T20 captain Eoin Morgan in the IPL.
