Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale missed Tuesday's training session in order to attend the birth of his third child, Alex Charles Bale.
This is Bale's first son with fiancee and high-school sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones, joining daughters Alba Violet and Nava Valentina, reports Efe.
"We are delighted to welcome a baby boy into our family this morning. Axel Charles Bale," the 28-year-old star posted on Twitter, along with a photo of the newborn.
This was Real Madrid's final training ahead of Wednesday's La Liga away match against Sevilla at Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
Los Blancos are in third place in the La Liga standings with 72 points, just three points behind second-placed Atletico Madrid, while Barcelona has already won the title.
