Reliance Comm launches ultra-fast data network

Reliance Communications (RCom) Thursday launched its Pro 3, ultra-fast data network, a company statement said here.

"Pro 3 offers a significantly enhanced experience for data users with speeds of up to 14.7 Mbps enabling lightning-fast data streaming, without any delay and buffering. In the first phase, RCom has launched Pro 3 in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune, with other key cities slated to go live shortly," the statement said.

"We are delighted to offer the Pro 3 advantage to our customers in these four cities and will launch the same in other key markets, including Delhi and Mumbai, shortly," said Gurdeep Singh, chief executive officer, consumer business, Reliance Communications.

Pro3 will be useful for the smartphones, tablets and laptops users, the company said, adding: "Customers who need to use large amounts of data at high speeds can enjoy limitless Internet usage on any of these devices at a never-before monthly plan of just Rs.999, with the 'True Unlimited Plan'."

The company provides data services to nearly 30 million customers and is taking the initiative to popularize high-speed data usage by offering Pro 3 services.
