Rapper Rick Ross was arrested by police in Fayette County, Georgia.
The "Hustlin" rapper was arrested on Wednesday.
The hip-hop star, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, was reportedly stopped by an officer while driving his Bentley 279 due to a window tint violation. The policeman searched the car after smelling marijuana and reportedly found five joints inside the vehicle, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Ross was charged with misdemeanour, marijuana possession and a traffic violation. Fayette County Sheriff's Office said the rapper was "very cooperative."
Before earning fame in rap music, Ross reportedly worked as a correctional officer in Florida.
Last year in June, the 39-year-old rhymer was also taken into police custody in North Carolina after a concert for skipping a court appearance for a misdemeanour marijuana charge.
