Ricky Patel 'blessed' to land challenging role (TV Snippets)

Child actor Ricky Patel, who is starring in the upcoming films "Tubelight" and "Meri Pyaari Bindu", will also be seen in a new show titled "Masoom". He says he is blessed to get challenging roles on the small screen.

"Yes, I am coming back to television with 'Masoom'. I am blessed that I am getting an opportunity to play such a challenging role on television. I have done more of movies and this will be my first full-fledged TV show," Ricky said in a statement.

In the upcoming Life Ok show, Ricky will play the lead role of an eight-year-old named Krish who is on a quest for justice. "Masoom" is a journey of an eight-year-old child, who is anything but his age and wants to seek justice.

Sisters Shalini, Malini enjoy a day out

Actress Shalini Kapoor of "Qubool Hai" fame enjoyed a day out after a long time with her sister Malini Kapoor, known for shows like "Dekho Magar Pyar Se" and "Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan".

"Malini and I are more like friends than sisters. I care for her a lot. We mostly plan our outing together. But as it wasn't happening for a long time, we went to watch a play at Prithvi Theatre," Shalini said in a statement.

They enjoyed the play "Shatranj Ke Mohre", for which they were invited by actor Rakesh Bedi.

Suniel Shetty praises task team of 'India's Asli Champion...'

Actor Suniel Shetty, who is hosting the reality stunt show "India's Asli Champion?Hai Dum" on the small screen, has praised the task team who work behind the scenes.

The actor posted a 19-second-long video, introducing the team and captioned: "The tasks on 'India's Asli Champion... Hai Dum' are anything but easy and also anything but unsafe! Meet our wonder stock team, who keep are safety safe, always."

In the video, Suniel pointed out that he has been a part of the industry for 25 years but has not seen a more "unbelievable task team".

He said: "This is the wonder stock team. An unbelievable team and one of the finest teams. I have been in the industry for 25 years but if you are talking about safety, quality... here they are."

The 55-year-old actor has come back to the acting world after a three and a half year gap.
