Brazilian football legend Ronaldo wants Neymar to stay at Spanish giants FC Barcelona and reject interest from the likes of other top European clubs Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Barcelona but the interested parties would have to meet his 153 million pounds ($ 2.21 million) buyout clause.
"He will stay at Barcelona," Ronaldo was quoted as saying by the dailymail.com on Wednesday.
"I don't think that Neymar will leave. He is well suited to the city and the team. I don't believe in the realisation of this transfer."
Since moving to Barcelona from Brazil's Santos in June 2013, Neymar has had a meteoric rise and is now considered as one of the world's best.
He has been also able to create a magical partnership with teammates Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
The Brazil international has scored 83 goals in 138 appearances for Luis Enrique's side since completing his move to Spain.
