Rajya Sabha member Sasikala Pushpa on Monday questioned the need for AIADMK holding a meeting of its law makers when Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa is recovering.

Speaking to India Today television news channel, Sasikala alleged that some "unconstitutional authority" is behind this action.

As Jayalalithaa's condition continued to be critical, all AIADMK legislators were told to visit the Apollo Hospitals, apparently to pick a successor to the AIADMK chief.
