CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Wednesday said the RSS and the BJP were always opposed to the reservation provision in the country.
"There was nothing new in RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remark on review of the reservation policy. The RSS and the BJP are against the reservation provision," Yechury said.
Reservation cannot be ended as it has been provided by the Constitution, he said.
"The RSS puppet BJP has been trying to saffronise all government institutions. We will not sit silent, we have to expose and protest to put a stop to such dangerous moves," Yechury told the media here.
He said the BJP has been attempting to impose RSS agenda on the country.
"The Left parties' unity will check the RSS agenda and the Left parties will defeat the BJP in the (Bihar) polls," he said.
Yechury alleged that the BJP was spending Rs.10,000 crore on the Bihar polls. "The BJP should disclose the source of such huge money and explain it to the people."
