"The film has opened well and according to early estimates it has grossed about Rs.32 crore in the opening weekend worldwide. The Telugu version has done exceptionally well and the film has taken a very good overseas opening as well," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
Starring Anushka Shetty in the lead, the film chronicles the rise of warrior queen Rudhramadevi in the Kakatiya dynasty.
The film also features an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menon and Aditi Chengappa.
The Tamil dubbed version of the film will release on Friday.
