Designer-actress Nicole Richie says actor-model RuPaul taught her how to nail the art of becoming a drag queen.
The 31-year-old designer met RuPaul at Decades, Hollywood's destination for vintage couture and modern luxury consignment, in California and took fashion tips from him.
"So I need to stop thinking like a short girl and start thinking like a drag queen," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Richie as saying.
After trying on a range of outfits, Nicole got into the swing of things.
She said: "I just don't want to regret that I didn't take advantage of my drag years."
RuPaul taught Richie how to stand, pose and walk in style before putting her into a sparkly pink gown, which took her out of her comfort zone.
"I wouldn't go this sparkly in my real life," said Richie.
To which RuPaul responded: "We don't focus on real life, we concentrate on drag. You're born naked and the rest is drag."
