Top military officials of South Korea and the US will hold defence talks next week in Seoul, the defence ministry here said on Thursday.
The eighth round of the South Korea-US Integrated Defence Dialogue (KIDD), which was launched in 2011, would be held in Seoul for two days from September 23, Xinhua reported.
Yoo Jeh-seung, South Korea's deputy defence minister for policy, would lead the country's delegation of defence and diplomatic officials.
The US side will be headed by Abraham Denmark, deputy assistant secretary of defense for East Asia, and Elaine Bunn, deputy assistant secretary of defense for nuclear and missile defense policy.
