London Olympics bronze medallist shuttler Saina Nehwal said she wants to emulate star batsman Virat Kohli's aggressive approach in her matches.
The Rio-bound shuttler, who recently clinched her second Australian Open title after beating World No. 12 Sun Yu of China in the final, said this while replying to Kohli's congratulatory tweet.
"Congratulations @NSaina So happy for you. Onwards and Upwards always #ProudIndian," Kohli had tweeted after Saina's win in Sydney.
Replying to Kohli, Saina wrote, "I would love to get more aggression like u for winning more matches I m trying hard for that Thank u so much."
Saina is among the seven shuttlers to compete in the Rio Games, starting August 5 in Rio de Janeiro.
