A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip BSE Sensitive Index (Sensex), was on Friday trading flat at 10.13 points or 0.04 percent down during the late afternoon session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 9.30 points or 0.12 percent up at 7,964.75 points.
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 26,824.01 points, was trading at 26,294.07 points (at 2.44 p.m.) in the late afternoon session, down 10.13 points or 0.04 percent from the previous day's close at 26,304.20 points.
The Sensex hastouched a high of 26,438.86 points and a low of 26,190.18 points in the trade so far.
