Popular TV host Seth Meyers is in final talks to host the upcoming 75th Golden Globe Awards.
The "Late Night With Seth Meyers" host, who will replace Jimmy Fallon, was approached for it early on but he did not commit until the past few days, reports variety.com.
Ellen DeGeneres and Tiffany Haddish were among the stars who were also approached to host the show.
Meyers' appointment, yet to be confirmed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), comes at a tough time for showbiz personalities to be at the helm of a live broadcast, given the intense public focus on sexual harassment and the darker side of working in Hollywood.
The 2018 Golden Globes will take place on January 7.
