Actor Seth Rogen was arrested for smoking marijuana when he first moved here because he didn't realise it was illegal.
The Canadian-born had forgotten that the city had different legislation than he was used to.
"I was genuinely shocked at how illegal it was here. I actually got arrested when I first moved to LA - I was smoking a joint at the beach, like I did my entire childhood, and all of a sudden, it was, like, whoop whoop whoop! Handcuffed in the back of a police car," contactmusic.com quoted Rogen as saying.
Despite his arrest, the "Interview" star doesn't believe he has a criminal record.
