Seven terrorists, allegedly involved in killing a senior police officer earlier this year, were killed in a shoot-out Sunday with the police in Karachi, media reports said.
"The terrorists killed in the gunfight were masterminds of attack on SSP (CID) Chaudhry Aslam," Geo News reported citing a police official.
Police have recovered arms and explosives from the terrorists.
The vehicle used in the attack on Chaudhry Aslam, who was killed in a suicide attack in Karachi in January, was armed by these terrorists, the police official claimed.
Two other accused, wounded in the shootout, managed to flee.
