Shah Rukh not back on Twitter

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has not made a comeback on Twittter and his recent message to singer Mika Singh is a technical glitch, said a source.

The 47-year-old has not tweeted anything since Jan 9.

On Friday Mika posted a message on the microblogging site, saying that SRK wrote to him: "Mika Singh "Bro @iamsrk I want u 2 come bk plsss!! (sic)"

But a source close to SRK clarified that "he is not back on Twitter and the tweet is just a technical glitch".

Further Mushtaq Shiekh, a close friend of SRK and writer of "Om Shanti Om", too said the same.

"Let me clear the air SRK has not tweeted. He will return when he wants to and when he feels like! For now tweet world has to wait," Shiekh tweeted.

Shah Rukh's last post on Jan 9 suggested that he was unhappy with the way the web was influencing people in the wrong way. He wrote: "Sad, I read so much judgement, jingoism, religious intolerance on the net and I used to think, this platform will change narrow mindedness, but no."

Twitter has an option of sending personal messages, which is not for public viewing.
