The temperature fell sharply Saturday in Agra following intermittent showers.

The showers were heavy Saturday morning, causing alarm in the rural areas where wheat is yet to be harvested.

"The unseasonal rain is particularly bad for barley crop," said farmer Govind Singh.

The day temperature fell by around eight to ten degrees to below 30 degrees celsius. The minimum temperature too fell by three degrees.

The sky was overcast.

The rainfall recorded Friday was 3.1 mm.
