Non-banking finance company Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd on Monday said it closed the first quarter with a net profit growth of 19.94 per cent.
In a statement issued here, the company said that its profit after tax increased to Rs 448.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017, up from Rs 374.10 crore earned during the corresponding period previous year.
According to the company, the net interest income for the period under review increased by 17.65 per cent at Rs 1,585.20 crore as against Rs 1,347.39 crore in the same period of the previous year.
