Actress Shweta Tripathi, who featured in finite web series "The Trip" -- a story of four girlfriends -- will be seen in its second season.
"Shooting for 'The Trip' was a party. The girls got along amazingly well helping each other with everything from dialogues to clothes. I can't wait to get on screen with them again," Shweta said in a statement.
The show featured Shweta with Lisa Haydon, Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi on a road trip in Thailand as a part of the bride's bachelorette. The journey turns into an emotional roller coaster.
Shweta will take the lead in the second season as the story now focuses on her life post the bachelorette celebration and will be shot in Rajasthan.
Currently, Shweta is busy playing Golu Gupta in "Mirzapur", another web series for Amazon Prime Video India.
