Visiting Singaporean Air Force chief, Maj. Gen. Hoo Cher Mou Tuesday met IAF chief, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, and discussed "matters of mutual interest", an official statement said.
Mou Tuesday arrived in New Delhi on a three-day official tour. He was accorded a guard of honour at Air Headquarters this morning.
The statement said Mou will visit Air Force Station, Agra Wednesday to get a firsthand account of the training pattern being followed at two of the most prestigious IAF establishments - the Paratroopers School (PTS) and the Mid-Air Refueling Squadron (MARS).
He will visit Air Force Station, Kalaikunda Thursday where a team of Singaporean air force personnel is already undergoing training as part of the joint military training (JMT).
The IAF-RSAF JMT is an annual programme that has regularly been held since 2008, and provides an ideal platform for exchange of air tactics and training philosophy to the pilots of the two countries.
