Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday inspected the under-construction integrated campus of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in the national capital, an official said.
The campus is coming up in Surajmal Vihar of east Delhi.
Sisodia directed officers and engineers responsible for the project to complete it before the stipulated date of completion, said the official, adding that the campus will be ready by November 2019.
The university campus will offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and envisages an annual intake of 1,500 students across six courses it proposes to offer.
The official said every building of the campus will have enough solar panels, and zero-sewage output will be ensured by installing a sewage treatment plant.
