Six new cases have been reported in Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, media reported Sunday.
Four polio cases have been reported from FATA and one each from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan by the polio virology laboratory at the national institute of health, Dawn reported.
On the other hand, the government is all set to administer polio drops to 700,000 children in Peshawar Sunday, Geo TV reported.
The city has been divided into different zones to meet the target. The provincial government has imposed Section 144 as a part of the security arrangements.
