A small plane crashed into a mobile home in the US state of Maryland Thursday, media reports said. The pilot is in hospital for treatment.
The Beechwood BE-23 aircraft crashed in Anne Arundel County, Xinhua cited the local WJLA-TV as saying.
Officials said the pilot was conscious and alert when first responders arrived, and that he was taken to a nearby trauma centre for treatment.
No one on the ground was injured in the crash.
A Federal Aviation Administration official said the plane had just taken off from Suburban Airport, a public airfield.
It was not known why the plane went down.
