Six highways passing through Beijing were temporarily closed due to heavy snow and the traffic authorities in the Chinese capital enhanced their inspection, Xinhua reported.
Mongolia issued an alert for snowstorm calling for the maintenance of roads, railways and telecommunication facilities.
In Tianjin, all highways were shut down and over 20 flights were delayed at Tianjin Binhai International Airport.
