Soldier injured as infiltration bid foiled on LoC
A soldier was injured on Thursday as the army foiled an infiltration bid across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, defence sources said.
A group of infiltrating guerrillas was challenged by soldiers in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara on Thursday morning, they said, adding in the ensuing gunfight, a soldier was injured while the intruding terrorists fled back into Pakistani territory.
