Controversial godman Sarathi Baba's son, who went missing after the arrest of his father, was detained by Odisha Crime Branch sleuths in Mumbai, sources said here on Wednesday.
Satyam Sekhar Roul was brought to Odisha on Wednesday. He was taken straight to the Cuttack headquarters of the Crime Branch for interrogation.
Crime Branch Additional Director General B.K. Sharma said Roul was brought back after a four-member team of the Crime Branch located him in Mumbai by tracking his mobile phone.
Self-styled godman Sarathi Baba had formed the 'Satyam Charitable Trust' and named it after his son. The trust was collecting crores of rupees from people for his ashram in Kendrapada district.
Crime Branch sources said out of the 33 bank accounts uncovered by the investigating agency, 13 accounts belong to Roul.
