Haitian star midfielder Sony Norde on Tuesday confirmed that he will be re-joining city giants Mohun Bagan this season, after some determined persuasion from the I-League champions.
Norde was instrumental in Bagan's success last year as he scored and also turned provider for the powerhouse club on a number of occasions.
A Facebook post from Norde on Sunday which read, "It's good to play in Mexico again," took the social media by storm. It looked like the 26-year-old would not come to play for the heavyweights.
But then on Tuesday Norde cleared the doubt via the social networking site stating: "Kolkata I'm coming," and posted a picture of himself in the green and maroon jersey.
Norde played for Mumbai City FC in the recently concluded Indian Super League (ISL) and is presently away on national team duties.
