"Hero" film debutantes Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty have been appreciated for their physiques but both have diverse views on the concept of dieting.

Interacting with the media at a fitness centre, Athiya said: "I do lot of weight training, I eat everything as well. I don't believe in starving or dieting. So that's basically how I got fit."

But Sooraj had opposite views. "The most important thing for fitness is your diet. If your diet is right, you don't have to work that hard on your body. I've seen people working extremely hard and doing as much as me or even more but still not looking in shape at all," he said.

Athiya said that her trainer made her eat eight meals in a day and made her do minimum cardio as she had to do some heavy intense dance sequences. Sooraj also stressed on the importance of fitness trainers as they know your body extremely well.

About father Suniel Shetty, Athiya said: "I have a very fit father at home, who is obsessed with working out so I work out with him six times a week."

Sooraj also claimed that he wanted to look like "Rambo" Sylvester Stallone and that he was highly inspired by the documentary "Pumping Iron" on Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"It sounds easy but it's not. You have to sacrifice on a lot of things, you have to sacrifice on your food, on your time and on going out at night if you want to look fit and be fit," he said.

Sooraj's physique - right from his bare back - in the first look to the action sequences in the trailer has been appreciated, while Athiya's appearance at certain fashion events and her fashion sense and her svelte and tall figure have been appreciated.
