Spain vs Netherlands game witnessed most vacant seats

Salvador (Brazil), June 17 (IANS/EFE) Arena Fonte Nova here which hosted Friday's game between Spain and the Netherlands had the most vacant seats of the 2014 FIFA World Cup so far.

The game witnessed 3,500 vacant seats but it wasn't the least attended game, since the audience was 48,000 in number, reports Xinhua.

So far attendance in Brazil has been good as almost all tickets have been sold out, according to FIFA. However, some ticket holders did not attend matches.
