Pop star Britney Spears says she's landed a guest role in the comedy-drama series "Jane The Virgin".
The 33-year-old announced her casting on her Twitter account on Tuesday, admitting she was fulfilling a dream by appearing on one of her all-time favourite TV shows, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Spears tagged two of the show's stars, Gina Rodriguez and Jaime Camil, and tweeted: "See u at the Marbella Hotel soon, @hereisgina @jaimecamil! Guest starring on one of my favorite shows EVER @CWJaneTheVirgin #DreamComeTrue (sic)."
News of Spears's casting drew an enthusiastic response from her new co-star Rodriguez, who plays the part of Jane, a waitress at the Marbella Hotel who gets pregnant despite being a virgin.
The Golden Globe-winning actress tweeted: "Literally fell out my chair @britneyspears I can not wait to work with you beauty! I'm covered in goosebumps. This is unreal!!! (sic)"
