Danish football club Aalborg Boldspilklub announced on Monday the sale of Lithuanian striker Lukas Spalvis, top scorer in the league of this Nordic country, to Sporting Lisbon.

Spalvis, who had a contract until June 30, 2018, will end this season at Aalborg and join Sporting Lisbon on July 1, said the Danish club, which gave no details of the deal, reports Efe.

The 21-year-old Lithuanian striker came to Aalborg in 2012 from German outfit Freiburg and in 50 games with the Danish team has scored 26 goals, 14 of them this season.

Spalvis has also played 10 games for the Lithuanian national selection, when he scored two goals.
