Squash fans will get to see some high quality action with four top 50 players headlining the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Challenger 15 event to held here at the Bombay Gymkhana Sep 4-7.
The Malaysian Ong Beng Hee (World No.22) will be the highest-ranked player in the tournament also having Egyptians Omar Abdel Aziz (36), Mohd Ali Anwar Reda (42) and Mazen Hesham Sabry (47). Three Indians will be seen in the main draw including Harinderpal Sandhu (66), Mahesh Mangaonkar (88) and Kush Kumar (317). World No.20 Saurav Ghosal will be missing the event.
As of now, more than 20 international players have confirmed their participation.
The winner's purse is likely to be around $2347 while the runner up will get $1605. All matches will be played on the 11 point American scoring format - best of five games with a 17 inch tin: an innovation that has enhanced the viewing pleasure over the years.
A junior event will also be organised simultaneously.
